Ingredients:

  • Cabbage, thinly sliced – 3 cups
  • Tomato, remove seeds and thinly sliced – 1
  • Onion, thinly sliced – ½ cup
  • Apple, thinly sliced – 1
  • Carrots, grated – 1 cup
  • Corn, boiled – 1 cup
  • Salt, to taste
  • Ram Bandhu Black Pepper Powder – ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice of 1 lime
  • Sesame seeds, both white and black, roasted – 1 ½ tbsp
  • Roasted Peanuts – a handful
  • Cashews, Almonds, Pistachios (optional)
  • Chopped coriander – (optional)

For the dressing:

  • Ginger, smashed and roughly cut – a small piece
  • Garlic clove, roughly cut – 1
  • Green chilli, seedless – 1
  • Jaggery Powder – 3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 3-4 tbsp
  • Temptin’ Soy Sauce – ¼ cup
  • Olive Oil – 2 ½ tbsp

Recipe:

  • To begin with slice the cabbage, tomato, onion, apple, carrots. Then add boiled corn to the veggies and apple and season it with some salt, black pepper powder, and add some lemon juice to it.
  • Now gently mix all the ingredients well.
  • For the dressing of the salad, in a blender jar add smashed and roughly cut ginger piece (small), garlic clove cut and roughly chopped, seedless green chilli (to remove extra spiciness), jaggery powder, lemon juice, light soya sauce, olive oil, and blend it all in the blender. Now, keep the dressing in a separate bowl.
  • Now, heat a pan, and toast some white and black sesame seeds and let it crackle, and then turn off the flame. Let it cool down.
  • Now for the assembling of the salad, press the mixed vegetables lightly, so that the excess water comes out and spread it over the plate. Feel free to use your favourite vegetables in this salad.
  • To the veggies, add some roasted peanuts, or other nuts of your choice, the prepared dressing, black and white roasted sesame seeds, and mix lightly using your hands. Now add the freshly chopped coriander to add to the freshness of the salad.

  • Tomato, medium chopped – 1
  • Coriander, finely chopped – 2 tbsp
  • Roasted skinless peanuts – ¼ cup
  • Raw mango, chopped – 1 tbsp
  • Black Salt, to taste
  • Ram Bandhu Cumin Powder – 2 tbsp
  • Green chillies, chopped – 2-3
  • Ram Bandhu Black Pepper Powder – ¼ tsp
  • Ram Bandhu Chaat Masala – ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice of ½ lime

Recipe:

  • In a large bowl, add some kala chana and soak it in water overnight or for at least 6-7 hours. Now, once soaked properly, remove the excess water and spread the soaked kala chana over a damp mulmul cloth and tie it in a potli form. Hang it over a tap or place in a bowl to form sprouts. Remember to dampen the cloth in between once the cloth gets dried. Use the same process to make sprouted moong as well.
  • Now, take a large bowl and add sprouted kala chana, sprouted moong, cottage cheese. Later, add chopped onion, tomato, coriander leaves, roasted skinless peanuts, chopped raw mango pieces. Now, add the masalas to make it more flavourful – start by adding black salt, roasted cumin powder, black pepper powder, chaat masala. Now add the chopped green chillies and squeeze some lime juice.
  • Using a spoon, gently mix well all the ingredients and serve in small bowls.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, raw mango, and roasted peanuts. Serve and enjoy this healthy salad.

  • Mustard Seeds – 1 tbsp

  • Urad Dal – 1 tbsp
  • Chana Dal – 1 tbsp
  • Ginger, finely chopped – 2 tsp
  • Green Chilli, slit – 2 pcs
  • Curry Leaves – a handful
  • Yogurt, hung – ½ cup, a little less than that
  • Coriander leaves, chopped – 2 tsp

Recipe:

  • Start with shredding the cabbage in thin slices. And keep aside in a bowl. Now, add the thinly sliced apples to it. Sprinkle some salt over it and add the lemon juice or vinegar to it. Add some black pepper powder to it and gently mix it using your hands. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, the cabbage will become soft, and hence you squeeze out the excess water from cabbage using your hands, and keep aside in a large bowl. To this add the thick curd.
  • Now heat a pan, and add some oil to it, add the mustard seeds into the hot oil, dry red chillies, chana dal, urad dal, finely chopped ginger, some green chilli, and curry leaves to it. Toss it all, and let the dal roast lightly, once this is done, your tadka is ready.
  • Add the prepared tadka to the cabbage and curd, and also add freshly chopped coriander leaves and give it all a good mix.
  • Plate, the salad and garnish with some more freshly chopped coriander leaves. Serve.

  • Milk – 4 tbsp

  • In a large bowl add the thinly shredded cabbage, carrots, thin cut capsicum, onions, spring onion, mayonnaise, some milk. Now, to add the head, add mustard powder, pepper powder, salt, sugar, and some lemon juice.

  • Green Olives, pitted – 8-10

  • Feta cheese – 50 gm

For Dressing:

  • Dijon Mustard Paste – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
  • Red Wine Vinegar – ¼ cup
  • Salt, to taste
  • Ram Bandhu Black Pepper Powder, to taste
  • Dried Oregano – ½ tsp
  • Olive Oil – ¼ cup

Recipe:

  • Start by trimming the top of the tomato and cut into thin wedges, now in the same way trim the top of the cucumber and vertically cut it in half. Cut each half into triangles.
  • Now cut the onion in half and thinly slice each half for the salad. Take green capsicum and trim the top of the green capsicum and cut the capsicum in half, discard the seeds, and cut into thin strips.
  • To make the dressing, put the Dijon mustard paste in a bowl. Add to it some lemon juice, red wine vinegar, salt, Ram Bandhu Black Pepper Powder, dried oregano, and olive oil and whisk till well combined.
