  • 2 cup chhole or channa (white chick peas)

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 and ½ cup finely chopped onions

  • 1 cup tomatoes – finely chopped or pureed
  • Salt as required

Making Of Flavorful And Delicious Chhole:

Pre-Preparation

  • Soak chhole or channa overnight or at least for 8 hours.
  • When chhole is soaked properly, drain the water and rinse them well.
  • Add chhole to pressure cooker and add adequate water. Avoid adding too much water as it will over cook chhole.
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger and garlic or ginger garlic paste
  • Pressure cook on small or medium flame for at least 4 whistles until chhole is soft and properly cooked. It should not be overcooked.
